    Dear Support Team,
while setting up Rank Math on a customer’s website using Sonaar mp3 audio player, a fatal error repeatedly occurs when saving Rank Math settings. Do you have any idea how to fix this?
    Error message attached.
    Thank you and best regards

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

From the error log you have shared, it seems that it is coming from the Sonar plugin.

In this case, please get in touch with their development team as it is possible that they already have a fix available for this issue.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

    Hello Reinelle,

thank you very much for the reply. I contacted Sonaar support in parallel and received the following reply:
“…The issue looks like related to CMB2, an open source library that Rankmath and us, use. It looks that Rankmath has modified quite a bit the library and i don’t know why this conflict happens. They seem to overtake the CMB2 library functions over the other third party plugins …. I recommend you contact Rankmath developer as well to see if they can find something about this.”

    Thanks for checking.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hi Jeremy,
thank you very much – credentials attached…

    Hello,

The modifications to the library are not coming from our plugin but rather from the plugin made by Sonaar.

The error is coming on line 166 of a file that doesn’t contain the array_key_exists() in the latest iteration as you can see here from the public repo of that library: https://github.com/jcchavezs/cmb2-conditionals/blob/6c8cafc3d1fdfd5780642cf696e4df120d540377/cmb2-conditionals.php#L166

In this case, the team over at Sonaar will need to check their modifications and debug why they are failing at the moment as you shouldn’t modify the library files directly, which is something we don’t do with CMB2 at all.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
