Hello,

I am trying to update the plugin but it gives me a fatal error.

I currently have version 1.0.48.1 installed, but when I update I get the following error on my website: “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site’s administration email inbox for instructions.”

I have tried to update without any other plugin activated and with the official wordpress theme, but still I get the error.

What I can do?

Hello,

Sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems like new tables are not getting created in the Database or some old plugin has left an incorrect entry.

1. Please follow these steps to fix the issue:

2. Please follow only the first 2 steps and clear your caches. The following steps mentioned in the article are for advanced users.

Please clear all the cache, including the server after following the above process.
