Hello,
We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the FAQ schema on your website. We understand that you’ve encountered a critical problem with multiple FAQ blocks causing an error when testing for Schema Markup.
To resolve this issue, you can disable one of the FAQ schema options to ensure that only one FAQ schema is added to the page. Here’s how you can do it:
- In the Elementor sidebar, click on Elements and then General.
- Click on Accordion and scroll down to disable one of the following options:
- FAQ Schema: This controls the Elementor FAQ Schema.
- Add FAQ Schema Markup: This controls the Rank Math FAQ Schema.
After disabling one of the options, click UPDATE to save the changes.
By doing this, you’ll be able to resolve the Duplicate Field “FAQPage” error without losing the ability to display your questions in Google search results.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to our dedicated support team here. We’re here to help you 24/7, 365 days a year.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Hello,
Unfortunately the bot’s reply didn’t help, as i don’t have two options for FAQ to turn on (only one).
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
Please note that you will get the error since you’re using multiple FAQs on a single page.
To fix this, you may need to add/combine all of the FAQs into one single accordion to comply for FAQ rich results:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/faqpage
However, the FAQ Schema is no longer applicable to most websites as Google has made some changes to this recently mentioned here: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2023/08/howto-faq-changes
So, for most websites there won’t be a need to have an FAQ and you should stop focusing on adding that as it won’t result in Rich Results for your pages anyway.
Google will now show FAQs mainly for well-known government and health websites. If your site isn’t in these categories, your FAQs might not appear.
Hope that helps.
