False positive on “broken” link detection

    Hello,

I’m starting a marketplace using WCFM.
My issue relates only to stores for which the user has not added any product.

My issue, roughly translated to english is here: rankmath > general settings > redirections > support behavior.
If I select ” default 404″, everything works fine.
If I select “redirect to homepage”, stores with no product are redirected to homepage.

I really like the functionality to redirect broken links to homepage but this issue is critical.
Empty stores do have opening hours, summary, location, etc. even though they have no product. Here is a screenshot of a page redirect to homepage if I activate the function, clearly not a 404: Redirect issue delaruche.com

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Empty sections are like thin content for Google so they get automatically redirected to the homepage to avoid being penalized. If you turn that option as you did, you “bypass” that setting. I would say it is an intended behaviour to avoid you having troubles with Google.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks, I will try to see with WCFM if there is anyway we can make it look “not empty” in the eyes of Google.
