    Rank Math free

    Hi Rank Math Team,
tried all the help & knowledge posts with suggestions, but I´m not able to connect my WordPress account with the Rank Math account. I`m in a loop, that tells me, my URL has changed after first connection – that is correct, becaus the site has been in developer mode – Now, my site is online and is called form the subdirectory.

Still disabled all all Plugins and tried my best – but nochthing works for me – Please tell me, how to leave the loop an get my WordPress with Divi connected – got two Emails an none will connect me 🙁

    Thx in advance
    Marc

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and we regret the inconvenience caused.

We checked and found a connected website in your account fet*******ts.de. Could you confirm if this is the website you were facing issues with?

If not, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hi Prabhat,
thanks for your reply – that is correct – the connected site is shown in my Rank Math account, but it is “not connected” with WordPress. It still says, the URL has changed, please reconnect …

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The login link doesn’t seem to be active and we are redirected to the login page.

While checking that, also head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General and make sure there are no mismatches in the WordPress URL and Site URL in those options.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Sorry, I refreshed the Link!

What do you mean with mismatches? My Website URL is of course different, because the site is called out of the subdirectory (WordPress URL).

    Hello,

I was able to access your admin dashboard and I can confirm that your WP URL indeed doesn’t match with your URL site.

Please ensure that they have the same URL and that the connection issue with Rank Math should be resolved.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you for watching – did I understand it right, that it is not possible to use Rank Math, if I want to call my Website out of a subdirectory, because both URL`s have to be the same? No other solution then this?

Or do I just need the same URLs to connect to WordPress Backend?

1.) Make both URLS the same
    2.) Connect the System
3.) Split the URLs again after connection

    … may this work?

Even a complete Reset of Rankmath (https://rankmath.com/kb/uninstall/#completely-removing-rank-math-s-data) and a new setup doesn`t change anything … any more ideas or answers, how to have an active Rank math AND call the website from the subdirectory? 🙂

I would be very pleased, to get this solved soon … Thank you in advance, guys!

If someone else has the same problem:

1.) Complete Reset of Rankmath (https://rankmath.com/kb/uninstall/#completely-removing-rank-math-s-data)
2.) Make WordPress and Website URL equal
3.) Connet your site with WordPress
    4.) Change back your URLs

    Hello,

I am glad that you are able to sort out the issue and thank you for sharing the steps you made.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
