You do not need to configure your social media accounts with RankMath, However, you will need to specify the social media content as below.

And how does Rankmath know on which social accounts to post without any configuration of these social accounts ?

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
Rank Math does not automatically post to your social media accounts. The social tab is used to save OpenGraph data eg the share image, title and description that will be displayed when your post is shared on Facebook and Twitter.
