Facebook is puling the wrong image from woocommerce product

    Hi,

    I’ve found an error when sharing my products on Facebook. Facebook is only able to pull the standard image in the SEO settings. This ignores the settings for each product and shows only the generic image for the whole site.

    This happens also when you add a specific image for Facebook in the sharing / SEO settings per product.

    example: https://naehtalente.de/produkt/hipster-damenslip/

    Yes, I’ve cleared the cache!

    For the site, I am using webp images, but this should not touch the image settings for social media sharing.

    The featured image on the page is in webp format, which is not supported by og:image tag.

    Are you using the same image for the social meta?

    If it is a different image, please share the URL of that image so we can check.

    Currently, the image that is set as the og:image is this one:
    https://naehtalente.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Material-Damenslip-naehen.jpg

    thank you for your answer. I was wrong. The reason was the webp-plugin that made this trouble.
