Facebook image not showing for homepage -og:image issue

    I’ve been working my head around for the last 2 days trying to get this to work since I’d like to promote my website on Facebook.

    Unfortunately, for some reason the “og:image” is missing.
    On the debugger it gives me the following errors:

    Inferred Property
    The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

    Also, on LinkedIn it shows the image without any issues. So I’m not sure what’s wrong.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It looks like your website is still using the Yoast plugin even it is already disabled in your plugin list. It is possible that your site is still heavily cached. Please ensure to clear your website cache. You may also contact your hosting provider for this.

    Thanks, it was indeed the cache. I downloaded a plugin to deal with it and now it works!
