Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
The “Open External Links in New Tab” option opens only those links in a new tab that are added from within the post editor window. Since the external link on your homepage is not added from the post editor window, we’re unable to apply the function to it.
I logged into your website’s admin area and created a testing draft post by adding an external link. The link is properly opened in a new tab. Please have a look at this screencast in the sensitive data section of this ticket.
