    Hello dear,

Actually I’ve tried to export seo meta data for posts, terms and users in a csv file and the file wasn’t good for me compared with another competitor for you for 2 reasons:
    in the generated csv file
1- the [object_type] column: this column contains object type called [post] which gathering all the post types on the website like posts/pages/products .. that means that columns contains post types.
can we rename or filter this post types to be post/product/page instead of calling it all as post ?
this modification will be very helpful to SEO analytics, Specially when this file is used for the same purpose.
2- the [slug] column which contain slugs for posts/products/pages: this is only slug, it should be full permalink/url for the post/product/page, so we can reach it easily without searching/copying/pasting this slug.
3- This generated file must contain the GTIN and SKU columns if it is on a product.

    Point #1 and #2

Kindly let me know if I can modify this file before generating to be like this.
and also let me know if you can modify this customizations for PRO users.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math to share your feedback on the Rank Math CSV export tool,

the [object_type] column: this column contains object type called [post] which gathering all the post types on the website like posts/pages/products

I managed to replicate the issue on my own setup and have asked a developer to look into fixing this so that the correct post type shows for each row.

2- the [slug] column which contain slugs for posts/products/pages: this is only slug, it should be full permalink/url for the post/product/page, so we can reach it easily without searching/copying/pasting this slug.

This is not possible as the CSV is often used to import data to websites with different domains and URL structures. It would be easier to set the slug and let website generate the URL using the slug

This generated file must contain the GTIN and SKU columns if it is on a product.

GTIN and SKU are not SEO meta values, that is why they are not exported just as the post content and images are not exported.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

    Hello dear,

Then the [object_type] column problem will be fixed soon ?

Regarding to slug column, is there anyway to contain the full url ? this file also used for keyword mapping, so the url will be helpful, i suggest if there is an option to set before exporting this file to enable full permalink

Regarding to the SKU and GTIN, the SKU can be used to organize the importing process the same as the ID column, it will be helpful so we suggest including it as a guarantee for a successful import process.
also, it’ll be helpful for teams to know which product they’re viewing via it’s SKU or GTIN specially when we’re talking on variable products.

*the columns I’m talking about to be embedded in the file is very important, I think that it can be embedded easily without a must to import it while importing the file to the website.

    Regards

    Hello,

Then the [object_type] column problem will be fixed soon ?

I received some feedback about the object type column. This column only returns object types like ‘post’, ‘comment’, ‘term’, ‘user’ and not post types. You will need a plugin like WP All Export to create a file that contains post type information.

regarding to slug column, is there anyway to contain the full url ?

You will have to create a separate document and run spreadsheet functions on it to add the domain name before the slug

Regarding to the SKU and GTIN, the SKU can be used to organize the importing process the same as the ID column

You can also achieve this with spreadsheet/Excel functions.

the columns I’m talking about to be embedded in the file is very important, I think that it can be embedded easily without a must to import it while importing the file to the website.

All of the above requests are manipulations unique to your website that can be achieved with spreadsheet software. The purpose of the Rank Math CSV is to export SEO data to other websites, or modify SEO data for reimportation. While advanced manipulation of the CSV data would be useful it goes beyond the core functionality of Rank Math.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

are you serious about that ??

I’ve no problem in using another plugin, but the customizations I need is for SEO purposes and that’s why I’m using your plugin!! that’s right ?, Your Competitors already offering this features.
anyway, regarding to the customizations of post type/object type column: you can check if you can help me with a code snippet for that.
regarding to full url: how can i detect the post type url structure ?? how can this excel function add the right url structure ? they are all terms friend! how can i know is it category or tag to give the right url structure ?? and the same for GTIN !!
Kindly study this customizations and help me to make it! i’m here for that i think.
it’s preferred to use code snippet in functions other than using 3rd party plugin.

    Hello,

Thank you for your patience as we look into the customizations you need for Rank Math CSV exports.

the customizations I need is for SEO purposes and that’s why I’m using your plugin!! that’s right ?

I understand your concern but the SEO export only includes values for items added to your database by Rank Math only. In the case of slug, the value is stored without the full URL,

regarding to the customizations of post type/object type column: you can check if you can help me with a code snippet for that.

The CSV export cannot currently be modified with a code snippet.

regarding to full url: how can i detect the post type url structure ?? how can this excel function add the right url structure ? they are all terms friend! how can i know is it category or tag to give the right url structure ?? and the same for GTIN !!

URL structure is not handled in the CSV export. Rather, it is handled in the settings export as that is where the URL structure is set. Please use the Plugin export tool instead of the CSV export.
