Explain to RankMath to look into some specific custom fields to analyse content

    Hi,

    On my wordpress site, all the posts content is located in a list of custom fields.

    I tried to use the content analysis API but I’m can’t figure how to say where to look (in which custom post).

    I tried to understand the js code from github but don’t succeed… And when I use it without modifying anything, I’ve got an error “Uncaught SyntaxError: Cannot use import statement outside a module” (removing the two import lines at the beginning doesn’t help, custom fields content is not read)

    Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you want the content analysis to read the data from the custom fields then please make sure that you have enabled the ACF module of Rank Math from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

    This should fix the issue. Let us know if it doesn’t. We are here to assist.

    I don’t use the ACF plugin, but I use custom fields (natively).

    To activate your module I have ton install the ACF plugin first, which I don’t want because I don’t need it.

    Is there a way to tell Rank Math to look in custom fields too without installing this plugin ?

    Hello,

    Please add those custom fields for the analysis at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts:

    Then, Rank Math will be able to read the content present in those custom fields.
