Excessive API calls

    Had to delete this plugin as it seems to have a problem with using too many API calls. Google’s limit is 200 per day. I made 1 revision yesterday and lost 30 API calls. Did a couple more revisions to some articles and I was -210 api calls.
    Not sure why this is happening, but I think that there should be an option that allows you to manually update instead of it automatically doing it on each revision and new post

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    One article should only consume one API request. You might have some plugin that automatically saves changes and when an article updates – the plugin will automatically send an update request to Google and consume an API.

    You can switch to do it manually by deselecting post/pages or any other CPTs at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Instant Indexing > Settings:
