    Hello,

I recently switched from yoast plugin to rank math.
I noticed yesterday that I get the following error message in the debug.log file:

[09-May-2021 10:58:59 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Required parameter $i follows optional parameter $args in /web/nyaklancraf/bofoxdesign.com/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/vendor/cmb2/cmb2/includes/types/CMB2_Type_Multi_Base.php on line 34

I don’t understand at all what to do with it.
    Could you help me, please.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards, Maria

    Hello,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello Cris,
Thanks for your quick answer. As you suggested, I tried to find the issue with Health Check Plugin. I didn’t find any trouble. Running a new debug process the problem is still there. I have Wordfence PRO on my site, and I tried to scan my page, but I coudn’t, it stops in the middle of the process (if it helps you this info). Hope, no virus…Could couse same error message?
    Rgds, Maria

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

Since the error message says PHP deprecated, could you please provide the PHP version you are using? You can find it on your WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site health > Info tab and click the Server.

You can also ensure that your website’s PHP values are not too low. You can get in touch with your web host if there are PHP values that need an update.

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

For the issue with your WordFence scan, it is also possible that your site’s PHP values are too low causing a timeout issue. You can check this link for more information.

If that didn’t help with the scan issue, I would suggest getting in touch with the WordFence team to further check the issue of why the scan stops on your website.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and looking forward to helping you.

    Hello Reinelle,
Thanks for your help. Now it seem, everything is OK, I’ve chenged the PHP values. By Wordfence was a setting problem.
Thanks again. Have a nice day. Maria
