    Hi,

    Starting to get Error 403
Permission denied. Failed to verify the URL ownership on a few of my sites that have been running for around a year with no issues.

I have checked ownership, etc and everything is correct and still the same from the original setup that was working.

    Any ideas please?

    Darran

This is one of the most common issues when setting up the Instant Indexing plugin.

If that doesn’t work for you, please remove the plugin, then install and configure it again.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

I have read that guide and this is not a new setup. My sites have been using your plugin for over 2 years I would say and were setup correctly then. This has never been an issue before now. Also the Bing submit stopped working ages ago as well but on all my sites. Again this worked way back when it was first setup but this has stopped now as well.

I don’t want to risk loosing SEO content by un-installing the plug and going through a new setup when I’ve not changed anything.

Is there nothing else that can be done to get it all working again?

    Thank you

    Darran

    Hi,

The settings ARE correct as they always have been and were working fine for 2 years, it’s not a new instal. So as well as the connection between Google Console always breaking, now this issue. Your plugin is not stable and has multiple issues and you expect users to keep redoing setups and reconnection accounts?

    Hello,

We’re sorry that your experience has not been the best with the plugin but this particular issue only happens when the call to Google API is not authenticating properly.

This means our plugin is sending the correct call to the API but the auth token is not corresponding with the administrator/owner of the property in question and it’s failing to authenticate, hence the recommendation is to redo the installation and generate a new JSON key for the Instant Indexing API.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
