Enhancement Request for Content Length Analysis in Japanese

    Dear RankMath Team,

    Thank you for your great plugin.
    I have a request from a Japanese perspective.
    Our language doesn’t use spaces between words.
    This leads to RankMath underestimating the word count of lengthy texts, e.g., interpreting a 50-line article as only having 50 words.

    Could you consider updating your analysis feature to better recognize word counts in languages without spaces? This adjustment would greatly improve SEO accuracy for Japanese content.

    Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Unfortunately, the WordPress editor itself is not able to detect the correct word count for the Japanese language. You can try with different SEO plugins and you’ll see the same issue.

    However, you can simply ignore the test as the SEO score is only for your reference and will not affect your site’s SEO performance. Web crawlers will be able to detect the correct word count and that’s what matters.
