Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Adding a FAQ block to an Elementor page is not as straightforward as it could be (due to the limitations of not allowing the use of Gutenberg blocks inside Elementor), but, there’s a workaround.
Here’s a screencast showing the process:
https://i.rankmath.com/DefBHH
When someone switches to the Block/Gutenberg Editor, adds an FAQ Block, and goes back to the Elementor – the FAQ block is going to be removed but only from the frontend. The code remains intact in the source code. One can add the HTML of the questions and answers again.
With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.
We hope that helps. If there’s anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
We do not use Gutenberg Editor.
We use the Classic Editor and Elementor.
How do I do this with Classic Editor or Elementor?
By the lack of reply to this support ticket, I assume that RankMath cannot be used with Classic Editor and Elemento to get Schema for FAQs.
That is too bad. I had high hopes for Rank Math.
Time to uninstall Rank Math SEO and return to using Yoast and the Schema Pro plugin.
Hello Stacey,
I am sorry but currently Rank math FAQ can only be added in Gutenberg editor. We will however be adding this feature to be available for Elementor in a future release. For now, you can disable the Schema module in Rank math dashboard and use a Schema plugin that supports this functionality.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
