Hi – I am trying to edit the title on my wordpress site but the pencil icon seems to be dead. I am running Mai Pro theme on Genesis, I have deactivated all my plug in’s and that did no good, can you help please?
I have put a screenshot on Imgur but I’m not sure if that will help. When I go on to my home page which is Welcome to Lofthouse Brass Band, and down to the Rank Math SEO, hover over ‘Click to enter custom title’ to get the pencil icon, then click on it, nothing happens. I get the same problem on the url underneath the first line and the same on the second line (custome metadata). The ‘Edit Snippet’ button takes me back to the top of the page.
I am going through a Lynda.com tutorial on SEO for WordPress and it suggestes that we install the plug in but obviously at the moment I have had to put a brake on the tutorial until I can get it working. I have deleted the plug-in I had on there in favour of Rank Math (Yoast).
