Hi,
I have around 32 URLs that google have excluded with “Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical” error.
I am not sure what’s happening. The content is nowhere close to duplicate. And the “Google-selected canonical”
is the same for all the URLs. They all are pointing to the same 1 url.I had seen this issue couple of weeks ago and to fix that added 301 redirect code (from www to non-www url) to htaccess.
Also, I had added rel canonical for the ‘Google-selected canonical’ URL, which was different at that time.
I thought this would resolve the issue. But looks like it didn’t.
Now whatever I publish, it goes in the excluded URL with “Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical” error.
Can anyone help?
Let me know if you need any detail.
Thanks,
Sunil
