duplicate post sitemap

    please help..my site have 2 site map ..one of them post-sitemap1.xml , and the other is post-sitemap2.xml…how can I fix ??
    what happen was my site verified first with its url with http and https also with www. & non www. … after some days ,I verified with only its name property on form (domain.com)… after that i notice there are two site map …so if I remove the site map which appear with property domain.com or any one of them…is there are any problem?? especially for indexing .

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    This is completely normal. Rank Math will create several post sitemaps if the number of your posts exceeds the links per sitemap which is 200 by default.
    Please head over to Rank Math > Sitemap settings and increase the number of links per sitemap to have fewer post sitemaps.

    thanks for help
    when i check my rank math setup i found the number sit to 200 link ..

    so after increase the number of links .. post-sitemap2.xml will disappear ??
    is there any problems for my site due to having 2 post sitemap?

    Hello,

    If you increase the number of links. There will be a single post sitemap until that limit is reached.

    There is no problem with having 2 post sitemaps, in fact, it is recommended to have smaller sitemaps to save your crawl budget.
