duplicate meta descriptions & missing excerpts 4pages after activating Rank

I can’t see the video you have attached, for some reason it doesn’t load.
However, I’m not sure what you have tested out and what results have you seeing, but I just added a YouTube video link(private link) where you can clearly see my problem. The video clearly shows that while RankMath is active, the Excerpt Box is missing. I go then and deactivate RankMath, resulting in the Excerpt Box Showing again for Pages. I go back and reactivate the RankMath and the excerpt box goes missing again.

I’m no expert, barely know which buttons to click, but clearly there is a bug. WP representative says there is no issue on their end. I need data to show WP, to to the theme developer. At first glance, to me it seems that RankMath is producing some sort of issues, since when is deactivated the Excerpt Box Is where it should be.

I’m not sure if you have seen the 4 min video I have attached to the Sensitive Data field.

However, I did try troubleshooting using the suggested plugin, but I think that plugin can only do so much and is not relevant–excerpt box is missing in troubleshoot mode, with or without any plugins active. Not sure how this can be of help.

Long story short, I have made a new video recording the screen and my voice saying everything I can think of to illustrate and explain the issue.

1. The first step I did was to actually disable/deactivate all the plugins I have installed myself, except the standard ones installed by WordPress.By doing so, the Excerpt Box is there!!! Please acknowledge once and for all. The excerpt box for pages exists, that’s a fact.

2. The second step(you can see in the video) I did was to activate the back to top plugin. After that, I have checked the pages to see if there is Excerpt Box==there is!

3. The third step was to activate the Smush plugin; went back to pages and checked to see if the excerpt box is there== is there.

4. The fourth step was to finally activate RankMath and check if the Excerpt Box exists for Pages. The result you can clearly see in the video: the Excerpt Box is missing, exactly how I have explained at the beginning of this ticket.

Now, I did discover that by going to the Schema Type withing RankMath (shown on the video), there are boxes for Headline and Description to complete %seo_title% and “seo_description”. I’m no expert, but I believe this is where the issue is coming from. RankMAth is taking over that “default excerpt box”.

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe this issue had started after the last version of RankMath(I remember receiving an email saying that RankMath had updated automatically-you know better when that happened).

You already have the credential to test whatever you want on my website, just go ahead and test and find out what’s the issue.
