Duplicate canonical URLs on AMP pages

    Hello,

    We are considering migrating all of our clients from Yoast to RankMath. We are seeing an issue where RankMath combined with AMPforWP is causing a duplicate canonical URL. Can you please help us to correct this so we can continue rollout beyond our test site?

    Hey Jeffrey,

    This is Mohammed Kaludi, lead dev of AMPforWP plugin.

    The issue you are facing must be due to RankMath not properly setup from AMPforWP panel.

    Can you please choose RankMath’s integration from SEO settings like shown in this screenshot and it should fix the issue.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I think this could be related to page caching on your end since I’ve logged in and tested one of your posts since this is the only post type that you have enabled for AMP support and everything checks out on the test tool as shown below:

    Please test this again and also validate the fix on the search console and let us know how this goes.
