Are you using Google Version 4?
If so, then GA4 is relatively a new product and is in Beta, & there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.
However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their API.

There are two web sites which I try to connect to the same google account but different google properties. However in one webeite I can select the account and the non-GA4 property. On the other website I cannot select the account at all. The drop list is empty.

I now have 1.0.52.2 but no difference. Reconnect asks for google user and password, but drop down box keeps empty.

I don’t want to create a new property because I would loose the old statistics.
The problem is not the google property because on the other website connected to the same account everything works fine. Even disconnect/reconnect is no problem. I use non GA4 attributes.
But on the second web site, connecting to google seems to work, but the drop down list box for the accounts itself keeps empty (in consequence also the drop list box for the property).

You will not lose any data. We would not have recommended that method if you did.
Please try or you can wait for Google to open up their GA4 API which might take a few months.

To repeat again: The problem is, that the ACCOUNT-Drop-Down-Box keeps empty one ONE of TWO sites. It is not the property, because this can only be selected AFTER selecting an account. It is not a general GA4 problem because I can connect with RankMath to the same google account with the second web site. I can even select between the two properties for the different web sites. So the questions is: What is the difference between the two websites and why can only one installation acccess the google-analytics account? Where are more detailed logs what goes wrong?

For you site to be not showing in the drop down this would mean that Rank math is either not able to get properties associated with the specified account or the account doesn’t have any properties associated with it in GSC.
Having GA4 can be an issue making Rank math not to fetch the properties acquired with the Google account.
Since as you have claimed, you have the account verified under the account then we can outrule the possibility of the account not having the property. If you are not sure of this, you can remove the current property from your GSC and connect your site through Rank math through which your site will be verified automatically and added to the GSC under the Google account selected.
If you have tried the above and it still won’t work, we have found that using a different Google account can sometime be the solution You can verify your site using a different account and let us know.
