Does Remove category option replace Permalink plugin?

    Hi,

    I have a question about the option Remove base and Remove category base.
    I’m currently using a plugin called Premmerce Permalink Manager for WooCommerce just for this purpose, it removes the ‘shop’ from the url and ‘product-category’. Can I deactivate this plugin and use the option in Rank Math? Is there something I should worry about?

    And for last, will I have problems with 404 errors? Or activating the options in Rank Math will create identical url as the plugin mentioned above?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It should work perfectly fine for you, but I would always recommend when you do this kind of change to keep enabled the Rank Math’s 404 Monitor and check it for a while to be sure there are no 404 errors (and to easily fix them if you find some).
