Does Rank Math SEO work with Google Analytics 4 properties?

During set up of my site, I got to that step in the wizard and I couldn’t find my ‘site’ in the GA property drop-down list.

Can we add this connection later?
What does this connection give me?

Currently the Analytics module in Rank Math does not work with v4 of Google Analytics.

We will be working on that very soon.

Thanks for the clarification. I’ll wait for ver.4 to go live in the future in a Rank Math SEO update.

Can you tell me know what the integration does with the older Google Analytics so that I can be sure to put in an interim measure?

Does it insert the GA code snippet?
Does it show me GA stats?

Hello,

@fiona6, yes it inserts the Google Analytics code and it shows data from it (so you don’t need to go outside of your site to have there all the information).

@hazelkey, do you mean the incompatibility with Google Analytics 4? In that case, we know it is a really important feature for our users and we are working hard to provide that feature as soon as possible.

Hello,

This may take sometime. GA4 is relatively a new product and is in Beta, & there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.

However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API.

In the meantime, you can enable GA v3 by following this:
