do redirections domains auto update?

    Hi, I’m currently in the middle of a site migration and am setting redirections in my new staging site.

    My destination URLs all include the staging site domain, but of course once we launch the new site, that domain will change to our active & public facing domain.

    Will all the redirect destination URLs in RankMath’s redirect tool automatically update to the new domain, or will I have to go into each one and change it once the site’s domain changes?

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    No, You will need to update the destination URL.

    Please head over to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Import & Export.

    Export Redirections to your local computer. Edit the file in any editor and Use the feature “find and replace” to change the destination URLs.
