I am using the latest Divi theme + RankMath plugin
This is happening to me as well since the recent rankmath update
Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
I see they had a similar issue with Yoast in the past that they fixed by updating their theme:

They will have to do the same thing for Rank Math as well.
I wish we could help but this issue is coming from Divi and they will have to release an update with a fix. For now, I recommend typing the focus keyword in a text editor and then posting it into the focus keyword field.

this is not a divi issue, why do we go to divi, its rank math issue, if we cannot type in ‘o’ its not their problem right
I have got the same problem and copy tex and insert dosent work.
I change Yoast Seo to Rank Match yesterday and there wasn’t this problem.
Maybe I can change Rank Match settings to solve the problem?

I didnt use the last version of RankMath, but the prievious.
There was suggestion after instalation your plugin, that I should instal prievious version.
I had to uninstall it ;(
But have to admit your plugin is very very interesting 😉
Please let me know when keyowrds works with the newest Divi.
