    I would like to know how, when building a site how to add all the optimised keywords and meta etc for rankmath. I build on development sites with indexing turned off. Do I need to add the development site to the rankmath dashboard to activate it so I can add the content and then deactivate after site is launched on live domain?

    I have searched but havent found any articles relating to this. I like to do my seo work as I build so I dont have a ton to do after go live.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    You need to activate your Rank Math account to unlock all the plugin features for use on the development site. You can later disable the dev site from the account dashboard if you would not like to store this activation.

    Please note that there is no limit to the number of websites that you can use your Rank Math account on.

    Yes but if I activate on rankmath site, does this mean the site is still not being indexed?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.

    Rank Math will respect the global noindex option that has been set on your WP settings.
    It is also possible to set the noindex option from the Rank Math settings by heading over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta > Robots Meta and set the noindex option.
