DEV Environment setup

  • Hi. Are there any draw backs installing it on the DEV site? We have a dev.domain, but the root domain has the free trial installed with Rank Math, not the DEV site.

    There shouldn’t be any problem using Rank Math to your staging/dev site subdomain. You may need to install first Rank Math to your subdomain.

    You can also add the subdomain to your websites in your Rank Math account to ensure some functionalities to be working.

    Thank you. We are using Elementor in our DEV environment now and we need to enter our own custom rich schema.org snippets per page so match what we had in PROD. Is there a way to do this with Rank Math SEO and how do we do this per page? It is essentially custom Javascript. I guess if RMS doesn’t have a solution we can just add custom JS per page. Thanks.

    Yes, you will get the option to create and import custom schema templates in the PRO version. You can import the schema templates from JSON LD code, directly from a website URL, or HTML code. You can learn more about schema templates here: https://rankmath.com/kb/schema-templates/
