This is actually causing all sorts of problems.
This error is causing updates in the post-editor to fail and you’re not getting any lookups for things like tags or categories because every call WordPress is making is being spammed by this deprecated call by Rank Math.
I rolled back to 1.0.204 and that problem goes away, but of course, that means the updated Rank Math Pro is now out of sync with the base plugin so who knows what problems that’s causing because the pro plugin has no “rollback” feature and there’s no previous version repository.
This is just poor.
Just rollback if you’re on the free plugin.
Go into the “Status & Tools” area and there’s an option to rollback to 1.0.204.
It will solve the problem if you’re on the free plugin.
I did it even on Pro because the 1.0.205 was spamming WordPress so much that it was breaking all the backend AJAX and causing it to be unable to successfully update posts.

We know about this issue and we’ve already fixed it in our latest beta version of the plugin. However, this version is not yet officially released. You can try this beta update and see if it resolves your issue. To do that, you need to enable the Beta update option by following this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates
If you don’t see an update available, please go to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients > Remove transients. Then, clear your caches, server, and WordPress and check again. You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version and if the issue is gone.
