Yes this okay and should not cause any issues. As a precaution, please use the following tool to validate the Rank Math sitemap and check for any issues before the switch:

It would also help if you could compare the number of links within the Rank Math sitemap and the one from Google XML sitemaps to ensure that no posts have been set to noindex.
