    Rank Math free

I have a few blog posts which I have removed from my website. I also want to stop them from appearing in Google search results. How can I remove them from Google permanently? Is it possible to do it with Rankmath?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

To remove a page from Google, you will need to remove the page link from the Google cache by following these steps:

1). Login to the search console and head over to the remove outdated content page.
2). Enter the URL (web address) of the page that has the deleted content you want to remove.
    3). Select Request removal.
If you see the message “We think the image or web page you’re trying to remove hasn’t been removed by the site owner,” follow the onscreen steps to fix this.
4). If you see the message “This content is no longer live on the website,” select Request Removal.

To avoid this situation in the future, you can mark pages you do not want to be indexed as “No Index” in Rank Math:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

I am only able to remove the URL through Google Search Console temporarily (for six months). How can I remove it permanently?

    Hello,

If the URL still exists on your site, setting it to noindex should prevent it from ever being indexed again after you have requested removal.

If the URL is deleted and ca n longer be found on your site then there is noting to worry about, once you have submitted the URL removal request, it won’t reappear since Google can only read URLs that actually exists on your site.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

That clarified my doubt. Thank you very much for your help 🙂
