Default Schema Does not work

I have made person as the default schema but once I fill the details and publish the article, the schema does not work. I need to change the schema to article or other, publish the article, edit again and change the schema to person for it to work. Please check this on your end and fix the bug (if it actually is) or help me solve my problem. Thanking you,

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section so we can take a closer look at the settings.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Please make a new post, fill the details in the person schema and view the “page source” of the post to find the issue. 🙂

The post schema seems to be publishing alright with a test person. Would you mind sharing specific link to the post you are facing issue on, or share a screenshot of the issue so we can help further.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Please check my new post URL posted in the sensitive data section. I have used the default schema “person” in this article. It won’t work unless I change the schema to “none”, publish the article and again change the schema to “Person”.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I have been able to reproduce this problem on my end. It only seems to affect the gutenberg editor and works as expected when editing using the classic editor.

I have passed this on to our dev team for closer investigation and we will be getting back to you in a short while.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Sure, please fix this issue. I do not want to go back to the classic editor. Thanking you,
