There is this message on my WordPress area:

Please keep only one SEO plugin active, otherwise, you might lose your rankings and traffic. Click here to Deactivate.

The plugin that creates conflict is Redirection, but I need it because it has features that Rankmath doesn’t have.

If I close the notification then every time it reappears. It’s annoying.

    What to do?

    Hi Matt,

I am so sorry about that.

I just installed Redirection plugin by John Godley on my website along with Rank Math and when I close the notice – it doesn’t reappear.

Could you please try disabling the Redirection module of Rank Math from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard and see if that fixes the problem?

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hi, I am getting this error: “Please keep only one SEO plugin active, otherwise, you might lose your rankings and traffic. Click here to Deactivate” I have also installed google Site Kit plugin, Yoast and Rankmath. Why this message appears?

    Hi Juan,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

It is not recommended to use more than one SEO plugin on the same site.
Please export of your Yoast SEO settings and import them to Rank Math and later disable it to ensure that you do not lose your rankings because of conflicts.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

    Hi Michael/Rankmath,

Can you please provide a code snippet to disable this nag (without disabling other RM functionality)? I, like others I’m sure, need to use other plugins like Redirection to provide functionality that Rankmath doesn’t currently have. In my specific use case, the ability to redirect certain query strings is what I’m having to use Redirection plugin for).

    Thanks!
    Alan

    Hello Alan,

You can disable the redirection module by simply heading over to Rank math dashboard.

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. We give you an option to choose between the two during the setup wizard and you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode.

You can switch to the Advanced Mode from the top-right corner at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

Hi! I have exactly the same problem – it says “Please keep only one SEO plugin active, otherwise, you might lose your rankings and traffic. Click here to Deactivate.”

My theme originally came with All-In-One SEO plugin. However, I’ve deactivated and deleted that plugin a while back. However, the error message is still showing.

    Would really appreciate your support.

    Best, Blake

    Hello,

If you have a redirection plugin, Schema, or sitemap plugin installed, that notification will show up then as well.

    Please check.
