    Hello,

We have a few sites when installing Rankmath where it doesn’t create the Redirection database tables required. When clicking the button “Re-create Missing Database Tables” under tools It just says “Parse Error”.

The only way I’ve found to resolve this is by manually going in and setting up the database table(s).

Is this a known issue with this version that you’re working on or something new?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with the database tables while using Rank Math. The “Parse Error” you encountered when trying to recreate the missing database tables is not a known issue with the current version of Rank Math.

To resolve this issue, you can manually set up the required database table(s) by following these steps:

    1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Database Tools.
    2. Scroll down to find the option Re-create Missing Database Tables.
    3. Click the Re-create Tables button to manually create the necessary database tables.

If you encounter any difficulties during this process or have further questions, please feel free to reply to this ticket. Our support team will assist you promptly.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

    Kind regards.

Yes, We’ve clicked the “Re-create Tables” button and that’s what is throwing the parse error.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

If our plugin is not able to create the tables, then something on your server is preventing it from doing so. In that case, you can use the following SQL query to create the tables: https://pastebin.com/syCMVwvv

Please note that your website’s encoding, engine, and table prefix might differ. Also, make sure to take a backup of the database before running the queries.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you, I was able to find that the table prefix was causing the issue not allowing the plugin to create the tables. Once updating this query with proper table prefix I was able to add them in and then click the “rebuild” button to sort it all out
