  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

These days it is fairly possible that Google is displaying a different meta title than the one that you have set on your site.

This might be because Google has not crawled the new meta title changes that you have done on your site till now.

Even if Google has crawled the new changes to the meta titles of your site, it is possible that Google still decides to show a different meta title for your search keyword, and there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

It is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

Please check the KB and you will understand the reasons behind why Google does this.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
