No thanks, it has been resolved it was just taking a bit of time to register on Google Search Console but one question i do have is the custom post type for recipes sitemap is not showing up on the index is this normal?Thanks

Please head over to Rank math > Sitemap Settings > Post type and ensure the sitemap is enabled. If not, please enable and clear your cache.

I have tried this and it still hasn’t shown up in the index sitemap but it has successfully been submitted on Google Search Console so should that be fine?
I have purged my cache on my cloudflare and on my wordpress dashboard

It should be showing up in the sitemap index.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

I checked your sitemap and the recipe sitemap seems to be included in the sitemap, please check the screencast I added in the sensitive section.
It is likely a case of browser caching. Please check your sitemap from a private browser or a different browser and let us know.

Just out of curiosity do you know whether it is possible to remove the attachments sitemap from the sitemap index completly? I have Noindexed the ‘Nofollow Image File Links’ and Noindex Attachments from Title & Meta.

Hello,
You can remove the attachment sitemap by disabling it in Rank math > Sitemap Settings > Attachments
