Contributor can’t save meta information and focus keywords

Please check if you are using a Firewall, as there are chances that it will prevent saving the data.

I tested with a Contributor user on my end and the data is getting saved without any issues.

We suggest you follow my colleague’s reply for whitelisting the updateMeta route as we’ve seen some strange behaviors from firewalls in the past.

In case that doesn’t help, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You need to whitelist the route in all the firewalls (server-side or firewall plugins) that you’re using.
