Hello,
There was a physical file on the root of your website called robots.txt that was empty and thus causing this situation.
Now that we have removed that you can edit the file with the help of Rank Math from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit robots.txt

Yeah Before verifying the ownership my site is not getting verified. After checking my Robots.txt file it shows this error. Contents are locked because a robots.txt file is present in the root folder.
After that Robots.txt also wont get verified.
What i need to ,how to solve this issue.

This error occurs if there’s a physical robots.txt file present in the root folder of your website like my colleague mentioned above.

Please check your website’s root folder for that file and delete it so Rank Math can generate the robots.txt on your site.

My Main issue is My Ownership is not able to verify in Google Search Console.
When iam going to verify the Webmaster ownership its shows me this error.
Could not find your site. Please check that you provided the correct URL for your property.
i have added the Correct URL But also not able to Verify the Ownership URl in Search console.

If you haven’t already created and verified your website property in the Google Search console, then Rank Math would get this done for you automatically, and you should be able to see your website listed under the Site drop-down list in the Search Console section.
