Connecting to Google Services

#739162
  • Hello,

I was able to connect to the Search Console but I was not able to connect to the Analytics portion. I do not see drop down option under General Settings –> Analytics –> Account –> Drop Down Menu.

Note: I created the website and had to rebuild it. Could this be the reason I have two options in the in General Settings –> Analytics –> Search Console –> Drop Down –> Menu–> for the same site. I am thinking this is why I cannot connect to ‘analytics code.

    Google Privacy Setting Removed access.
Attempted to Test and Reconnect same result connected to the Search Google Console.
No connection to the ‘Install Analytics Console’.
Under Menu Options on the Rank Math Seo list of options I have the analytics green bubble not in the General Settings –> Analytics –> Search Console –> Drop Down –> Menu.

Can you help me resolve this without having to start from scratch again? Or provide a solutions? I have gone through some of knowledge base articles.

    Please and thank you!

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with connecting to the Analytics portion in Rank Math after rebuilding your website. It seems like you are experiencing difficulties with the dropdown menu under General Settings → Analytics → Account.

Based on the information you provided, it appears that there might be a glitch in the connection between Rank Math and your Google Analytics account. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Test Connections:

      • Click on the Test Connections option at the top right of the Analytics settings to validate the connection. Please ensure you are in the Advanced Mode of Rank Math to access this option.
      • If there is a red signal indicating a glitch, reconnect your Google account by clicking on Reconnect Google Account.
    2. Reconnect Google Account:

      • Navigate to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
      • Click on the Reconnect link to disconnect and reconnect your Google Account with Rank Math.
    3. Update Data Manually:

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

This can happen if you haven’t created a property for your website. Could you please confirm if you have already created a GA4 property for your website?

If not yet, please visit this page (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/) and sign up for a Google Analytics account and property, then reconnect your Google Account so the new Analytics account will reflect in that section.

Let us know how this goes.
