conflict with Elementor

    Rank Math free

    Hello team,
One of my websites broke and the culprit was Rank Math. It is disabled and I moved the content of the website because there is something seriously wrong with it.
On my other website, it seems Rank Math and Elementor are not agreeing with each other. The changes I make to SEO are not always updating. And I cannot afford the new website to give me grief. I am now thinking of disabling and removing Rank Math just to be safe.
If I removed Rank Math, what is going to happen with all the data I entered using Rank Math? Am I going to lose everything? For example: I entered the keywords, snippets and such things all through Rank Math. Will it be gone? What do I have to expect after deleting it?

What do you recommend I should do? I only have very basic knowledge and no help with the website.

    Many thanks, Sarah

  • Hello Sarah,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please confirm first the issue is coming from Rank math

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Please let us know if you find the culprit.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If this doesn’t help, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

Also seeing a conflict with Elementor, updating a page in Elementor throws an error.

    [26-Oct-2020 15:22:40 UTC] WordPress database error Table ‘wp_officehow.wp_rank_math_analytics_objects’ doesn’t exist for query SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM wp_rank_math_analytics_objects made by do_action(‘wp_ajax_elementor_ajax’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, Elementor\Core\Common\Modules\Ajax\Module->handle_ajax_request, call_user_func, Elementor\Core\Documents_Manager->ajax_save, Elementor\Core\Base\Document->save, Elementor\Core\Base\Document->save_elements, Elementor\DB->save_plain_text, wp_update_post, wp_insert_post, do_action(‘save_post’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, RankMath\Analytics\Watcher->update_post_info, RankMath\Analytics\DB::update_object, RankMath\Analytics\DB::add_object, MyThemeShop\Database\Query_Builder->insert

    Hello,

Sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems like new tables are not getting created in the Database or some old plugin has left an incorrect entry.

    1. Please follow these steps to fix the issue:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/fatal-error-after-1-0-49-update/

    2. Please follow only the first 2 steps and clear your caches. The following steps mentioned in the article are for advanced users.

    Here’s a video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/KStFug

Please clear all the cache, including the server after following the above process.

That should resolve the issue. Thank you.

    Hi,

The suggested fix didn’t appear to resolve this particular issue.

After running ‘Repair Action Scheduler’ then with Rank Math activated, Elementor saves and throws an error. The issue also appears to affect the ‘Contact Form 7’ plugin, i.e. changes are saved but then throws an error. The issues are resolved only by deactivating Rank Math.

    Many thanks

    David
