    Rank Math free

    hi there!

There is an area on RankMath.com’s dashboard where it displays the “Connected Websites” statistics under “Analytics Overview” such as: Search – Impressions, Clicks, Keywords, Traffic, etc. It is promised by the RankMath team on the videos and on the site that the site Analytics data that is fetched from the Google Analytics or Google Search Console is never looked at by anybody at the RankMathTeam but passed on to the client’s server and processed and stored there.

So, can you please tell me how you got the site data on rankmath.com’s dashboard without looking at the data?

Why I am asking is – that when the Google account is set up to access the data from Google Analytics/Search Console – you might not be looking at any data right away. But, since you are forcing all your clients to connect their websites to RankMath.com if the “Analytics” module has to be used is letting you spy on the client’s data as and when you want? I don’t know the truth, just asking.

I am not sure how you are getting the data in RankMath.com’s dashboard, especially when you are saying nobody is spying.

I am just curious and confused and I hope the above statements will be taken in a concerned way rather than in an accusative manner – which is not my intention.
    Just concerned. That’s it.

I love RankMath plugin but just tired of anybody spying on anyone’s hardwork.

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns regarding the Analytics module in Rank Math. We understand your apprehension about data privacy and want to assure you that at Rank Math, we take data security and privacy seriously.

When you connect your website to Rank Math for using the Analytics module, the data fetched from Google Analytics or Google Search Console is not viewed or stored by anyone at Rank Math. The data is directly passed on to your server, processed, and stored there. We act as an intermediary to fetch the data from Google and display it to you within your WordPress dashboard.

We do not spy on any client’s data or access it without permission. The data displayed on the Rank Math dashboard is sourced directly from your connected Google accounts and processed locally on your website.

If you have any further concerns or questions about how Rank Math handles data, please feel free to ask. Your privacy and trust are important to us.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your understanding.

    Warm regards.

Here we can again see that — there is an option for RankMath.com to fetch data from the client’s server. This is what I am talking about. Please explain. Thanks.

    RankMath Dashboard

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

Please note that this feature is available for better client management in our Business and Agency subscription. Many of our users want to see the Analytics data for all of their websites at a time.

However, we believe the client also has privacy and that’s why, in the Business and Agency subscription we have the Monitor SEO Performance option to disable this feature for a particular website. Users can disable this option from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics: https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/#monitor-seo-performance

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

I was just concerned that RankMath.com pulling the site data — if it can do it — either by customer’s option-selection on the plugin area — WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics…… if that’s possible, RankMath.com is already capable of doing the data-fetching even without client permission. This is what I was trying to say and that’s a big concern for sure.

Anyway, I TRUST that the RankMath team is not into any of that — but, the whole thing of connecting RankMath plugin to RankMath.com acts as a backdoor to the client’s site.

Thanks for making RankMath plugin – it’s great.

P.S. I am closing this thread.
