Changing URL slugs without changing title

    Hi there I am looking for a way to dynamically add current month and year to post URL’s without having to change the title of the post is that possible?

    I know that month and year is %currentmonth% %currentyear%

    But adding that to post titles strips the %% and it doesn’t work – and I actually don’t want it in the post title anyway just the URL slug – is there any way around this?

    Thanks for contacting us today.

    To be able to add these variables to the post URLs, I would suggest that you head over to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks > Add custom structure as shown below:
