    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    You will have to set up the redirections before changing the permalink structure.
    You can enable the automatic redirection option by heading over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections > Auto-post redirect.

    However, we do not recommend making changes to the permalinks on an established website as it may affect the ranking of the website.

    You can change the permalink structure if the option is enabled. It will save you from losing the traffic by redirecting your old permalinks to the new ones.
