The only “improvement” you can do in that guide is instead of installing another plugin (for the redirections), you can use the Redirections module in Rank Math (so one plugin less to install).

Not really, just watch if it shows any 404 error or similar and if it does, just redirect those URLs to the right ones (as explained in the article).
