Change in XML sitemap Url entries structure, Oldest first

    Hi team,
    Few months back i started a topic which is below and could not solve the problem, Later i tried with other SEO plugin and got messed up with some important functions.

    I have total number of 1.5 Million posts and then i have 4000-5000 URLs in every XML sitemap.

    Now i wanna give another try with Rank Math, what i think a solution to my problem could be caching XML sitemap and increase the post limits. However every time a new post is published it changes all Sub-sitemaps because new post appears first in order. Is there any option where we can change this order and new post appears last and old post appears first, because in that way the old sitemaps will remain as it is and only the last one will get updated and we can focus on that one only which will not slow down the website again & again

    Please advise if it can be achieved in any settings or with any code snippets.

    Hi Todd,

    Thanks for your reply, It will be beneficial for large sites and eCommerce because sometimes we use caching on xml sitemap and right now cashing does not work because of frequent updates it is keep on changing with every update as the new entry comes in (sitemap1) instead of last sitemap for the same field. as it comes first it changes the structure of all other sitemaps too.

    Please let me know if you guys find some solution for this.
