Category Page No index - Support

Hlw ,

All of my site’s category pages has been indexed at google. I don’t want this and this looks odd.
How am I supposed to choose no index options from rank math for the category pages going forward ?

Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

You can set your categories to be noindex from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Categories.

You can check your categories for the presence of noindex tag here:
https://smallseotools.com/meta-tags-analyzer/

Do note that Google takes more than a couple of weeks to remove the URLs that are already indexed before you choose to noindex them.

I already noindex the individual category pages from the sidebar of rankmath. Please check the attached image. I also proceed your last instructions.
