Can't overwrite/delete Rankmath plugin - Support

The rank math plugin corrupted during the upgrade process.

I tried to reinstall it but can’t do so as rank-math.php is being left over by the uninstall process in /wwwroot/wp/wp-content/plugins/seo-rank-by-math

We cannot manually delete the file using the root
The file appears corrupt and can be read but cannot be removed or changed, we cannot edit permissions or file attributes on it.

We cannot reinstall the plugin because the file cannot be replaced or removed.

Can you please help with this ASAP?

Hi,

We are hosting in Azure app server which is mostly managed internally. The permissions issue is only happening for that file. Our infrastructure team tried to delete it from the shell but can’t do it from their end either.

Is there anything you can do from your end? Happy to have a call if you are available.

We’ve tried logging in via FTP, but we’re getting an error. We have also tried the combination of usernames, but neither of them is working.
