Can’t Enable the Index Status tab

We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with enabling the Index Status tab in Rank Math despite following all the recommended steps and reinstalling multiple times. If you are still unable to enable the Index Status tab even after reinstalling, you may need to re-fetch your analytics data from Google.

To do this, please update Rank Math to the latest version and navigate to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Database Tools. Then, click on Rebuild Index for Analytics as shown in this guide.

After that, go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics → Analytics Database. Click on Delete data and then click on Update data manually following the steps outlined here. This process will trigger Rank Math to re-fetch your analytics data from Google.

If the issue persists, it might be due to domain properties not fully supported by our plugin. In this case, you should reconnect your Google account from WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics and connect the URL-prefix property. Once done, try enabling the Index Status tab again.

This usually happens when you’re using the domain property (sc:domain) to connect your site to your Search Console account.

For Google Search Console, please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
