We have tried everything suggested. Despite adding only a single post for meta title and description, the message “Bulk editing SEO meta started. It might take a few minutes to complete the process.” consistently appears at the top, and the bulk metadata generation still shows as 0 out of 0 posts processed.
We installed RankMath the same day we tested (latest version) and it’s not working. Our other site with a much older install is working great, both use same hosting provider. Can we debug this over email? Thanks!

Thank you for sharing the FTP access. I logged into your site and spent a considerable amount of time debugging this issue. It looks like the Background_Process we use to generate the SEO data is silently failing on your site. The same process works fine when it is executed instantly without using the Background Process to update the data in chunks.
Could you please get in touch with your hosting team and ask them if they have any rules that would be blocking the Background Processes from executing?

I doubt they have anything preventing that because it’s working great on a different website with the same host. Maybe cloudflare is causing an issue for some reason? Are there IPs to add to an allowed list?
Looks like the issue was caused by cloudflare. You may want to double check the way that process operates and provide a list of addresses for customers to add to an allowed list.

Having said that, that process is an external library included with most plugins that want to make use of the scheduled actions and we simply extend the library in our calls to generate data in bulk.
When we tested this feature on a lot of different installations we didn’t face any issues with Cloudflare blocking the background processes but we’ll assess the situation further and if required will create a KB article with more details on how to make sure those processes are whitelisted.
