Canonical tags missing for URLs

    Greetings..
The rel”canonical” tag is missing for all paginated URLs both on homepage, tags and categories. Can I know the reason and how to fix this?

Example URLs are on the sensitive data section.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Since those pages are set to be noindex, that is the reason you are not seeing a canonical for those pages. If you want to show on them the canonical, you will need to remove the noindex tag (but as you said in another topic, you are trying to remove those paginated pages from Google Search so I don’t think you want to set them as index).

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

same issue for me. The canonical tag does not appear despite indexing paginated pages.

Thanks for the clarification. I rather leave it that way. Thanks once again..

Any idea how long it will take for the noindex pagination to stop appearing in google?

    Hello,

We can’t say an estimate since it depends on Google, it can do it fast for some websites and for others take a lot.

    Looking forward to help you.
